Thanksgiving was pretty quiet. About half the family was sick, so we just stayed at home instead of heading to Tahlequah(can't have Grandpa get sick, that wouldn't be good at all). So we bet on the Cowboys game, since that's about the only Thanksgiving tradition we really have, Dad won, off by four points. My phone was lighting up all morning with "Happy Thanksgiving!" texts to and from Daniel, Ashland, Jon, Dylan and Elizabeth. Courtney is about ready to take her driver's test, so she's kind of excited about that.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is almost at the third season's winter break, and so tonight's episode was adrenaline packed. It was insane. Next week's will be even crazier. The start of Agent Carter was pushed back because of the State of the Union address, which can be summed up by the opinion of all the old men at the Danville high school basketball games, according to one of Philip Gulley's essay collections: "It's bad, and it's only going to get worse." Maybe HYDRA isn't so fictional as we'd like to believe....
