Today was a Monday

You know those days when it seems like not much is going right, and then one more thing goes wrong? Repeatedly? It's been that kind of Monday. And especially bad timing and frustrating because it's that kind of Monday - of the week before finals. Yeahhh....

The heater was turned on, which sounds good, right? WRONG. Because we go from living as polar bears and huskies up north to becoming diamondbacks and scorpions in the Arizona desert. In other words, it's HOT. So I couldn't get to sleep until almost 2 a.m., slept for about four hours and woke up at six.

And my laptop has been working off and on since last night. I think it might be something to do with the Internet connection, since Sunday night was a little rainy/cloudy, and the TV was completely out, too, but it's working for now, so that's good. It's made it a little hard to do homework, though.

Our last psych quiz was moved up from Friday to Wednesday, which wasn't pleasant to hear, as I'd gotten only halfway through it. And our report is due Friday, still need to write the actual report part, gotten all the framework in place.

There's been this weird smoky haze in the air; that's freaky. Cut myself in three places while shaving.

Frustrated and overwhelmed by everything, I go over to practice volleyball for a while to hopefully clear things up. Only some brilliant person had decided to take the net down and hide it somewhere...

Even Chick-Fil-A food sounded unappetizing today.

The last BCM meeting of the semester was tonight, that went pretty well. We were all about to drop at the end, though; so exhausted from merely staying upright and awake and not coming unhinged when near people, like we probably all wanted to do, somewhat. Our SWAT group did another one of those silent skits, haven't uploaded it yet, but this is what we used to learn it. (We had to watch four times before we could stare at anything but that blonde girl's hair. That's a lot of hair.) People seemed to like it.
Played ping pong for half an hour before before practice, winning twice. Ate dinner with Caleb and Skylar, it seemed like every person on campus we knew was in the Underground.

Tomorrow: more homework, more things to do! The constant prayer throughout the room was "Lord, please help us survive these next few weeks." It'll probably be another late night of studying.
