Things are going better than they have for most of the week. Sure, there's still tons of homework and stuff to get done, but the weather's nice. And it's been a productive day, so that's good.
I forget how beautiful this campus is sometimes.
The news show was spliced together Wednesday night; it went about as well as we expected. Still looks kind of homemade and un-professional, but we're a bunch of college students with other courses to worry about at the same time. And we made the best use we could of with the equipment we had. The teacher wasn't thrilled with the editing quality of my news story, but she said the content was great.
Went to see the play Thursday night and enjoyed that. It was different; but good. Very well-acted, with a lot of zingers and accents. The lack of props was a little distracting, though. Found myself wondering what a movie version of the story would look like, and what the other 33 audience members thought of the show. The cast did really well; portraying a slick New York radio salesman, an average farmer, a crazy sheltered blind girl, freaky Methodist pastor and refined schoolteacher throughout the tale.
Then talked with Jon and Amanda once I got back, which was really helpful, it was very good to hear from and catch up with them.
Friday was productive - included classes, more conversations with Jon and Manda and more homework - and then I went over to Grandpa and Robbie's for the night, we're all very sick of school by now. Gotten several reports written and almost finished editing the final clips of the last SWAT shows today.
For tonight and tomorrow: Keep working on homework, and if there's time maybe see if there's a movie on TV or Netflix.
